Yes, I have an open return policy, I want you to love your jewelry but if you don’t you can return it for any reason for an exchange or refund. Custom items are only returnable if approved and will incur a restock fee.

How to return:

~ Once you've contacted me and we've agreed on an exchange or refund I'll supply you the return address.

~ Pack your item so that no damage can occur during shipping, it’s best to use the packaging it came in or similar.  Please add tracking and consider insurance which protects you in case of shipping problems.

~ If I made a mistake on your order (wrong item sent, defective part) I will message you a prepaid return label.

Warranty

Real life happens, right? If you receive a defective item or you damage your jewelry I'll get you taken care of! Depending on the circumstances I may ask for a repair/replacement fee and shipping (for instance if you've had your jewelry longer than 60 days).

Every component of all of our items we make is sterling silver (also known as .925 silver) never filled or plated. We offer three different finishes on our jewelry and the cleaning method is a little bit different for each.

To clean your lightly oxidized sterling silver jewelry use a gentle soap with water, rinse and pat dry.  To add more shine use a soft cloth or a silver polishing cloth.  The light oxidation is pretty much permanent as long as you don't use silver cleaning paste or dips.

If you have the bright finish (no oxidation at all) start with the above soap and water, but if that's not cutting it you can soak the piece in a bath of 1/2 cup white vinegar and 2 tablespoons baking soda for 2-3 hours, then rinse and pat dry.  If your jewelry has heavy tarnish (which usually happens when it has sat unworn for long periods of time) you may need to resort to a silver cleaning paste or solution which can be purchased online or locally.  

Our dark oxidized finish is not permanent so it has to be cared for differently and polishing is not recommended.  Try rinsing with just water and then lightly patting dry.  A very gentle soap and water solution can be used, but any rubbing will cause the finish to deteriorate quicker.  

Your dark oxidized jewelry's finish will wear away with time and handling, and depending on your body's amount of natural oils, or use of lotions, showering and swimming, it could wear away faster.  I am happy to reoxidize anything purchased from my shop at anytime for free as long as shipping both ways is prepaid.  There are also DIY methods for darkening silver that can be found on You Tube.  

Chains:

Each chain in my shop will have a sizing chart, but these general guidelines can help you decide on your personal necklace length:

For Men:

~ 18" on most men this length will usually be a choker, too tight and uncomfortable

~ 20" worn inside or outside of your shirt, hits at about the collar bone

~ 22" good length for a small to medium sized pendant, a few inches below the collar bone

~ 24" another good length for pendants, will fall over necklines including v-necks

~ 26" to 28" worn alone or with a medium to large pendant

~ 30" falls about mid-chest and works well with large pendants

~ 32"+ usually going to be statement chains, great for layering many lengths

For Women:

~ 16" will be a choker on most women

~ 18" falls below the throat at about the collar bone, tiny and small pendants work for this length

~ 20" works well with small to medium pendants, falls a few inches below the collar bone

~ 22" sits at about mid-chest, small to medium pendants look good here

~ 24" heart level with medium to large pendants

~ 26" to 30" usually going to be front and center on busty women

~ 32" to 36" longish lengths, worn plain or with large pendants

Bracelets:

Use a flexible measuring tape or strip of paper below the wrist bone.  If using the strip of paper mark where the end of the bracelet needs to be and then measure your strip.  

For a snug fit add 1/4" to 1/2"; for a comfort fit add 3/4" to 1"; for a loose fit add 1 1/4".  Keep in mind that the thicker the bracelet the tighter it will fit.
